The week before Mother's Day, Ollie's All-Star class had a special Mother's Day program. Wow, have they learned a lot in there this year, and it is so amazing to see what 3-4 year olds can pick up these days! Each week their theme has been a different letter of the alphabet; they learn words that start with each letter, do crafts pertaining to the letter (they built a volcano on V day, collected leaves on L day, etc.), and activities pertaining to the letter (yelling on Y day, dancing on D day, etc.) They have also learned some sign language, worked on numbers and counting to 100, and know a number of sight words. They went through their letters and colors in sign language, and sang us a few songs before we had cookies (that they had made). Such a fun morning, and I am so very impressed with Mrs. Harvey and Mrs. Panepinto. What a great class! I am thrilled that we put him into the optional 3rd day of preschool for the year.
On Mother's Day, Jon had Jeff and Marie help him bring the kiddos to church since I was singing with the choir. After, we headed to brunch at Oceanaire. Delicious! Evie especially enjoyed her cookies and milk for dessert. ;)
Pic with my cuties! Evie wouldn't let go of Jon, so he is in the pic too.
Silly boys!
