Fall is fun!

I can't believe that October is almost over already! Both kids are getting so big. Oliver has really been talking up a storm, sometimes combining 3-4 words! He still has his moments where he jabbers and you can't understand a thing he says, but most of the time he speaks as clear as a bell! He loves to help cook and clean. He makes our waffles every morning, and helps Jon with pancakes on the weekends. He will put the detergent in the washing machine and dishwasher, and loves to press the buttons to start them. He is still great with Eva, always entertaining her and making her smile. He still loves to run, jump and dance, and is starting to sing a bit too. Right now he is a little tone deaf like his Daddy, but we are working on it! He is getting much better at sharing and taking turns, and almost always says "please" and "thank you"! He will also say "Bless you" after sneezing. Another funny thing he has been doing in the past month is stripping! It is always during naptime or bedtime. He used to just lose his shirt, but lately we will peek at the monitor, and he will be buck naked in his crib! One night I went to check on him, and he was fast asleep, bare butt up in the air. He is still best buddies with Luke, and loves to play with him at school and at home.

Miss Eva is getting big too. She is still very long and skinny! She is well into her 3-6 month clothes, and is in a size 2 diaper. She is doing a great job of holding her head up, is grabbing at toys, and rolling up onto her side. I won't be surprised if she rolls over soon. Another exciting thing is that she has started sleeping through the night! The night we got home from Vegas, she slept for 9 hours. Sometimes she will still only give us 5 hours, but most nights she will go between 7-10. She is a very smiley, happy baby, and will let out an occasional laugh. She is such a sweet baby girl! She loves her playmat, and sits in her highchair during meals and just watches and smiles while we eat.
