This fall is full of weddings for us! The first was October 2nd in Oak Brook, just outside of Chicago. Jon's friend Craig from grad school married Ashley, and Jon was in the wedding. Grandma Marie came down to watch Ollie, and Jenny made the trip with us to "nanny" for Evie for the weekend. We had such a great time. The wedding weekend was at The Lodge, a hotel on McDonald's corporate campus. Everything was beautiful. Ashley's self-written vows were the most beautiful I have ever heard. It was so much fun to get dressed up (a nice change from my mommy yoga pants!), catch up with friends from grad school, and get away for a few hours. The food was wonderful, and the evening wrapped up with McDonald's cheeseburgers!
