"Mommy, take my's picture! Cheese! Wanna see it!" Oliver is quite the little chatterbox. When we are driving in the car, he will talk the entire time. His vocabulary has just exploded!! Example: Yesterday on the way home from vacation, "Daddy, you are driving way too fast, you need to slow down!!" Yes, complete sentences and all. He still says "I's, do's my's," etc., but you can almost always understand him now. He has gotten really good at using descriptive terms too: "This skeddy is 'licious!" "The guys are fixin' the chimmys with bricks. Dey look bootiful!" He loves to spot trucks on the road, and can see them from blocks away "a digger. Hi digger! A school bus, hi school bus! A mail bus, hi mail bus" etc. He can spot trucks and trains out of nowhere. Jon and I will be searching and finally see what he is looking at. The kid has eagle eyes. He also loves to sing. Lately, besides his kiddie songs, you will hear "don't stop, thinkin' bout tomorrow". He is so cute, and so funny!!

Sir talks-a-lot and madame walks-a-lot
So two major things have happened in our house the last couple of weeks. Oliver has become a talking machine, and Eva has gone from her 1-2 little steps at a time to walking like a maniac!
One step, two step, three step, four...

Miss Eva is an official walker. She took her first little step on June 18th (10.5 months), and the day we left for vacation (June 30th), she took 8 steps in the backyard in the am, another 6 in a row when Grandma was watching her while I was packing/running last minute errands, and then 25 steps across the room as we were packing up the car. Here we are a week later, and she is pretty much walking everywhere, and getting fast!! So she officially walked at 10 months. She will definitely be running around at her birthday.
