Our sweet princess is 3 years old! I can't believe it.
Although, she has been acting older than she is for some time now! She is still a sweet, sweet, girl, always trying to include others or help out if someone is upset. She is also very sassy, opinionated, and so silly and fun! She is a daredevil, and such a talker. I recently heard that at 3, the average vocabulary contains 100 words and they should be able to speak in short sentences. Our girl can talk for a good 5 minutes straight, and is the queen of run-on sentences! Our favorite words of hers include binext (next to), and she adds a 'did to the end of all of her past tense words (makedid, eatdid, sleepdid, etc). She loves worms, bugs, digging in the dirt, riding her bike, and running around like a wild woman. She also loves dressing up, dancing, baby dolls, coloring, drawing, and being a princess. We have a well-rounded one here!!
Birthday pancakes!
After Daddy left us for the morning to go to work, we headed to gymnastics, and then to the JCC for some fun in the sun with Auntie Jenny! The birthday girl had a great time, and is getting braver around the water features!
O getting ready for Evie's party. He had to shave, and when I told him to put his gym clothes on from the am, he threw up his arms in protest and said "that will not be handsome enough for Evie's party!!" So he put on a golf shirt and khaki's. Perfect!
For her birthday evening, we had a little backyard fun with the Fults', Injays, and Mullans. Pulled pork, mac 'n' cheese, scooters, and S'mores. Who could ask for anything else??
Auntie Jenny and Uncle Joe with Elliot.
She loves her S'mores!
In her new tutu and ballerina slippers!
