Jon and I had been debating what to do about a Christmas tree for awhile. Elliot is pulling up on EVERYTHING, and taking steps, and falling into stuff, and getting into things, so a big decorated tree would just be asking for trouble! Jon's great idea was to get a little tree that we could put on top of the table or one of our cabinets. One day at school, Evie's class was talking about the ornaments that they had put on their trees, and Evie exclaimed "we don't have a tree!!" Christy, the preschool director, was laughing as she told me the story and said "it just didn't sound like you at all to not have a Christmas tree!!" I told her we were worried about Elliot pulling a tree down, so we hadn't figured out what to do yet. After that, we finally got over to Lowes, and got one of the last little Charlie Brown trees. It is kind of cool though that we can plant it in the spring and will always have a reminder of Elliot's first Christmas!
These cuties were still super excited about their Christmas tree!
Helping Daddy carry it in!
The decorating went pretty quickly.
Cute little Christmas elves!
