Lunch with the Witches

On Thursday, we headed to the Children's Museum with the Injays and Grandma Marie to visit their annual Haunted House and feast with the witches for lunch. It was such a fun morning. The haunted house theme this year was Vampire Vacation, and it had different scenes from around the country where the vampires, Vic and Viv were visiting. We were there for the friendly "lights on" hours. It would be pretty scary with the lights out and people jumping out at you! Lunch was fun with food from Fazoli's, an emcee who entertained while having everyone dance to Halloween music, and face/hand painting. After lunch, we went to a little concert by Ruditoonz in the Lilly Auditorium. We spent another hour or so playing in the museum, and then headed home. We will definitely go again next year!

Oliver, Luke and Eva, ready to go through the Haunted House! Ollie wouldn't take his eyes off of the shark. I think he was a little scared of it... Petting a black cat! Hiding with Grandma. Did you want chicken for dinner, Luke?

Listening to the concert.Clearing out rubble in the Egyptian explorer exhibit. Looking for clues. Eva hanging out with a Terra cotta warrior. Don't forget your safety goggles!Excavating the Terra cotta warriors.
