Pumpkin Patch

Since we had a newborn last fall, we missed out on a lot of fun fall activities. I had really high hopes for this fall, making a list of all of the awesome Halloween stuff we could do as a family. Stonycreek Farm pumpkin patch was at the top of the list. It was a beautiful sunny morning when we headed up to Noblesville. Overall, it was a fun morning, even though some of the activities were a bust. When I tried to take Eva on a pony ride, she dove off into my arms screaming. Ollie was all smiles as he got into the pumpkin train, but burst into tears when we were waving good-bye to him. At least the nice people there gave us our money back for both. Hopefully we didn't traumatize our children too much...

Ollie should have been sitting by Evie, but really wasn't interested in having his picture taken. She is adorable, as always.Fishing. King of the mountain!Once we got out to the actual pumpkin patch, Evie found a little stump that she decided to use as a chair. You can just see the wheels turning in that little noggin...Trying to find the perfect pumpkin.I found one, Bubba!! (That is Eva's new name for Ollie).These punkins are so heavy!
Oliver has been talking about the pumpkin patch ever since, so I'm glad the whole day wasn't a bust!
