Ice storm+sickness=NO FUN!!

Over the last weekend of January, Jon was starting to feel a little rough; so Monday, he took my advice and got a doctor's appointment. He was diagnosed with bronchitis, given antibiotics and cough medicine, and came home to lie around. On Monday night, the storm of the decade started! We ended up getting 2 inches of ice, and all schools were cancelled. Most people didn't go in to work for a few days either. It worked out nicely for Jon, since he wasn't feeling up to par. He was able to work from home for two days, still be productive, and take naps in between calls.

Jon and Evie, working hard! This was between two conference calls though... Schools ended up being cancelled for 4 days straight. Pretty crazy stuff! Here's what our steps looked like; this explains a lot!
On Tuesday, Oliver started running a fever and feeling pretty crummy also. Wednesday, I called the pediatrician's office to see if I could bring him in to get looked at while Evie was at her 6 month check-up. Turns out the poor guy had an ear infection! He was miserable for a few days, and spent much of the week watching movies. Jon went back to work on Thursday, but we were pretty cooped in the house for the entire week. No fun!
