The largest attraction right now at Universal has to be The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. That is the whole reason that Jon's conference was held at Universal this year instead of Disney. Monday evening after the park was closed, we were all bussed over from the hotel to Universal's Islands of Adventure where we enjoyed dinner outside of Jurassic Park, listened to a band for awhile, and then walked over to check out Harry Potter land. It was so neat to be able to see everything and go on all of the rides with just the people from the conference! We got to try butter beer and pumpkin juice, and left with a chocolate frog. We also got sucked in by Hogwarts, buying a few t-shirts, and a surprise owl for Evie for Christmas. She was in one of the gift shops, and picked the thing up and started hugging and kissing it, saying "I love you baby owl". Too funny! Flash forward, she sleeps with it every night and carries it around everywhere. She doesn't even have a clue who Harry Potter is, but Hedwig is her new BFF!
Dancing to the tunes. The music guys even put Evie's name into one of the songs that they sung, since she was such a dancing machine!
